An exchange concert hosted by Jun music in Heguri, Nara Prefecture, under the motto “wonderful music together”. Three parts, four groups.

We sing in the first part, together with Duo Niji and the Jun Music Chorus. Makitaro Arima conducts, Reiko Emura is at the piano and Noriko Maekawa on percussion.

The second part features Hiroshi Uno (taiko and shakuhachi) and Mari Yamanishi (piano), the third Junko Shimada (voice), Takako Yamada (piano) and the choir Fiori.

Tickets in advance only
Tickets must be ordered and paid for in advance. There is no box office on the day. You can order via the QR code on the organiser’s flyer (Jun music office).

After the concert
Afterwards the organiser invites everyone to a small gathering at the Community Center.

  • Part 1Duo Niji, the Jun Music Chorus and Der Flügel. For us: conductor Makitaro Arima, piano Reiko Emura, percussion Noriko Maekawa. We sing Narayama, Zigeunerleben and the Japanese folk song medley.
  • Part 2 · guest performanceHiroshi Uno (taiko and shakuhachi) and Mari Yamanishi (piano).
  • Part 3Junko Shimada (voice), Takako Yamada (piano) and the choir Fiori with Megumi Nakatani and Natsuko Ōsumi.
